Summit Intern

As the Smart Growth Summit Intern, Allie is responsible for helping plan, manage, and execute the 2022 Smart Growth Summit. She is excited to have found an opportunity to apply and grow her skills in communications and research to help produce this cornerstone event that connects Louisiana leaders, practitioners, and advocates to information and ideas that will help build more resilient communities throughout the state. 

Allie is a recent graduate of LSU with a Bachelor of Science focused in Nutrition, Health, and Society. During college, she gained volunteer and work experience in communicating health-related topics one-on-one, in group settings, and through social media. She believes in the importance of improving the health environment by providing access to resources for members of the community.  Originally from Pittsburgh, Allie has lived in seven different cities across five states. In her free time, Allie enjoys traveling, running, baking, and playing ultimate Frisbee.
