Dana Hunter is a native of Baton Rouge with more than 14 years of experience in grant development and administration. As a grant writer for CPEX, Dana engages in grant prospecting, development, and administration efforts that support CPEX’s goal of building thriving, resilient communities across Louisiana through planning and development. Prior to joining CPEX, Dana served in leadership roles in academia and government managing both federal and state funded community-based projects.
Dana earned both her Ph.D. and master’s degree in social work from Louisiana State University and a B.S. degree in Biology from Southern University A & M College. In her limited spare time, she enjoys holding her grandbaby and driving sports cars.
