The Summit will take place on April 25-26 at the Manship Theatre in the Shaw Center for the Arts in Downtown Baton Rouge. This year's theme, "Planning is Personal: Putting People First," underscores the transformative power of planning when it embraces the individual needs and aspirations of residents.

The 2024 Summit will bring together a diverse group of professionals, including multi-disciplinary experts, elected and appointed officials, lawyers, planning professionals, policy makers, business leaders, and engaged residents. Together, we will engage in thought-provoking conversations on a wide range of topics, including climate action planning, renewable energy, placemaking, extreme heat, AI, and much more.

Two sessions that will be of particular interest to you are Navigating Windy Waters: Planning for Offshore Wind in Louisiana and Brighter Futures: Leveraging Solar for Resilient Communities. We hope that you will join us for these important conversations and register for the Summit today.
