Liz Goad

Development Lead

Liz Goad is a native of Baton Rouge with more than a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, advocacy, and administration. As the Development Lead at CPEX, she manages the organization’s fundraising and membership initiatives, coordinating strategic development efforts across teams to further advance its mission and priorities.

Prior to joining CPEX, Liz served as Director of Grants and Community Development at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, where she managed the regranting of state and local funds to support creative community engagement across nine parishes in southeast Louisiana. Through her work in the creative sector, she cultivated interdisciplinary partnerships to enhance the role of the arts in education, healthcare, and economic development.

Liz holds a Master of Arts in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Denver. A graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Leadership Program (2016), she has been featured as a presenter at the Louisiana State Arts Summit and PechaKucha Night Baton Rouge.
