The Climate Initiatives Task Force wants to hear your priorities for climate action. Below are a few ways to submit your feedback to the Climate Initiatives Task Force and make your voice heard.

Provide Public Comment on the Louisiana Climate Initiatives Interim Report

The Louisiana Climate Initiatives Interim Report summarizes the greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals, the mission, vision, and values of the committee, a deliverable timeline, as well as planning processes. To submit public comment on the Louisiana Climate Initiatives Interim Report, or ideas or comment for the Task Force in general, email climate@la.gov.

Submit an Emission Reduction Action Proposal

Another avenue to provide public comment is to submit an Emission Reduction Action Proposal. An Action is based around a specific policy, program, or project that will result in a net reduction in GHG emissions and/or comprehensively address a cross-cutting implementation priority (Climate Equity, Economic Transition, Scientific Advancement, Governance).
