Macey Williams

Resilience Manager

Macey Williams is the Resilience Manager at the Center for Planning Excellence (CPEX), where she applies a multidisciplinary approach to strengthening communities and promoting sustainable planning strategies. With expertise in research, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement, Macey leads initiatives focused on enhancing community resilience through land use planning and policy development.

Macey holds a Master of Science in Global Change from University College Dublin and Justus Liebig University, where her research explored environmental migration and governance in receiving communities. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Louisiana State University, fueling her holistic perspective on social and environmental dynamics.

Outside of her professional work, Macey is a passionate aerial and acrobatic artist, using storytelling and performance to forge creative connections with communities. Her dynamic approach to both art and resilience work reflects a commitment to agility, creativity, and meaningful engagement.
