Zac Lemoine
Government Affairs Lead
Zac joined CPEX in 2024 as the Government Affairs Lead to provide support in engaging various government entities and work with elected officials to highlight the impact solar and wind energy can have on Louisiana’s economy and energy needs.
Before joining CPEX, Zac served as the Legislative & Policy Director for Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards. In the Edwards’ Administration, Zac worked 14 legislative sessions, several catastrophic weather events, historic wildfires, and a global pandemic. Large legislative wins include securing funding for and launching both the Louisiana Dolly Parton Imagination Library, the Louisiana Patriot Scholarship to assist members of the Louisiana National Guard with fees at Louisiana colleges and universities.
Originally from Grant Parish, Zac has called Baton Rouge home since starting at LSU in 2006. Zac and his husband Mason live in MidCity Baton Rouge with their goldendoodle Miss Bourbon and their tuxedo cat, Soda.
